Because being a victim is playing life on easy mode. Or at least that is how they think. When everything bad that happens in your life is due to someone else then there never is a reason to have to do the hard work of changing.

Yeah but this article is focused on the laziness of the scammers to not even edit the pages to get rid of AI-generated phrases like :

"I’m sorry, but as an AI language model, I cannot provide specific articles on demand."

Which ultimately is a good thing that they are so lazy to even proof-read what the AI generated.

I have some friends that got married and decided to merge their two last names and create a brand new last name. I thought it was a cool idea

It also reinforces who he is to less hard core supporters which may have a positive effect over time.

I posted this a year ago, thought as the election gets closer to re-post it just because I think this part of a trump presidency is being ignored. So if you need another reason to not vote for this piece of shit and his lessor demons here it is.

That we are emotional animals that sometimes have logical thoughts. But we live in a society (at least in the west) where we have to pretend that we are logical animals that sometimes have emotions.

"as you turn the corner you hear in a deep voice 'LÅNGARYDBESTÅ MACKAPÄRSTÄLL!'" and in front of you lies three boxes and one simple tool. A voice comes into each of your heads telling your party they must build the items only using this universal tool, It must feel solid and you can not argue."

The way I see people like this is that they have too many other things tied up in their decision. It's not just about facts they have friends, co-workers, family that all believe a certain way. If they were to make a big change to this way of thinking it puts them on the outside of their social group.

But what you may have done with your line of questioning is set a seed for change in their thinking. It may take a while to grow into an obvious change but it can happen. Of course this means that they have to put the work in to grow those ideas, which may not happen but it was good to do.

I wonder if Stanford University and other elite schools would have allowed an AI generated paper?

I feel if this kid didn't get caught in high school he definitely would have at any university.

Kroger is the largest grocery store chain in the U.S. by revenue and owns a number of different brands, including Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Pick’n Save, Food 4 Less, and Dillions, among a host of others

Kroger told Gizmodo... “customers are shopping more with Kroger now than ever because we are fighting inflation and providing great value.”

... or maybe customers don't have much of a choice ?

One study by the First Street Foundation, a research firm that studies climate threats to housing, found that roughly 3.2 million Americans have already migrated, many over short distances, out of flood zones, such as low-lying parts of Staten Island, Miami and Galveston, Texas. Over the next 30 years, 7.5 million more are projected to leave those perennially flooded zones, according to the study.

All of this suggests a possible boom for inland and Northern cities. But it also will leave behind large swaths of coastal and other vulnerable land where seniors and the poor are very likely to disproportionately remain.

Covering large parking lots with solar panels is an idea that goes back decades but in America at least it's an idea that has never really taken off.

What is the reason for that? Is it due to the overall cost or is there something else that keeps Walmart, Target, Costco, Sams Club, Malls, etc. from covering their parking lots with these panels and selling the power?

What's your go to for music while you workout?

This question has been around for a while but I'm curious as to your answer

When I tell people I've never seen the Lion King they are really baffled by that.
