Though if decentralization were to be hidden, it'd be a good idea to cycle through lots of well established general instances for user signups under the hood. The vast majority of people are just going to choose the default options, and if it's all going to funnel into mastodon.social, that's a lot of centralization of users. Ideally no single server lords over all the others in terms of user count, because that gives them lots of power other instances may feel compelled to abide by. Having power spread out across many different people helps keep things in check, at the very least making large or drastic decisions more of a round table affair.
"I don't have to, because the knowledge of my ability to fly has already been imprinted upon the hearts of everyone on earth. If you truly decide to let my flying ability into your heart, you will quickly understand the power behind that truth."
In regards to the prospective decision of which I am a party to, I have reached a conclusive choice between the dichotomy of 'can' and 'can not'. To whomever it may concern, the result of much mental deliberation has reached an egress, now ready to be communicated to all those interested. It shall be known from this moment forward and into the forseeable future (notwithstanding a later recanting, which would nullify this verdict) that the status of my ability is unable, ergo, 'can not'.
Can confirm, no problems here! Thanks a bunch for sharing your plushie friends and telling some of their stories.
Aliexpress worked out very well for your goth plushies, they look quite cool! Also I can totally see why that huge fox is looking to be your latest cuddle buddy, they look so big and soft. How many of them are on your bed usually, like do you just choose one to cuddle with or do you have a little pile on the bedside?
You're certainly not alone, I'm in the exact same boat lol.
Aww thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it!
Thank you very much!
Two, One. Earth below us. Drifting, falling.
Sorry doc, I had to make a stop at the cemetary. Everyone's dying to get in there you know!
I'm not exactly sure, but I did a reverse image search and this bug guide article seems promising! They say either funnelweb or grass spider: https://bugguide.net/node/view/552847
I've bean waiting such a long time...
Engagement is one of those things which is a bit odd to try and capitalize on. It's less about the content itself and more about the where and when a lot of the time. You'd be surprised just how much the exact same post would change in reach just by shifting your post time by a few hours. I never found /r/furry to be a good place to post artwork when I used Reddit. Slapping a tagline and putting it onto furry_irl was significantly more effective with user interaction and turnarond. Though regardless, virtually none of those people ever interacted with my furaffinity.
At the end of the day though, being popular has little to do with hard work and improvement as an artist. It's much more about endlessly shoveling out content of any quality and constant self promotion. If you're not the kind of person who wants to turn marketing into a hobby, you and I are in the same boat. Just making things we want because we can, and sharing stuff without expecting any real engagement. I might not be popular, but at least I feel free to do as I please.
