Probably because of Windows exclusive software. When an art student friend asked me to install Linux on her laptop I told her she shouldn't go for it because she'll have a massive headache as soon as her teacher asks her to install photoshop. Don't get me wrong I love Linux and the BSDs, but there are certain use cases where they're not the right choice.

If you're willing to make a new account, I use lemmy.ml and so far I've been able to connect to every major instance including beehaw. Or you could make a separate beehaw account just for their content.

True, but c'mon Bojack for a crossover episode is absolutely iconic and I found The Simpsons Guy kinda boring tbh.

Oh, I like this even better. I hope a lot of other subs do this as well. Wonder what r/feedthebeast would look like.

Sounds cool. As someone who just recently started getting into Reika's mods I think a skyblock could be really cool. Only problem I see you facing is Reika's restrictive licensing policies, though I'm not 100% sure what his stance on modpacks is. If you do end up making it, I'll definitely play it.

Not sure. Try posting it in a comment. What is the new distro? I thought Fedora already started it by moving to wayland.

Yeah, weirdly this is always what works for me.

That truly sucks. Yeah, some professors can be like that. I had a math professor offer bonus points to the first 3 students completed the assignment, only for the majority to cheat and just look up the answer and turn that in. It became a contest of who could copy the fastest and one student even admitted to doing it, but she just didn't care and gave points to the cheaters anyway.

Yeah, that was mostly just a trend thing that died down. In recent years the web experience has developed a lot. Also, I think people just realized having that many clients for a single service is a bit redundant and nonsensical.
