The product is already tethered to the battery pack, so it’s not that far of a stretch to imagine maybe a $500 version that is dependent on an iPhone or something.

Vision pro is a full computer, vision air might be a glorified display for a separate computer.

Trying to find a community for a popular topic isn’t the easiest in the world… it’s a bit like the old days where you had to find a good forum for the topic you wanted to chat about.

I think they’ll drop the price considerably to get users and developers onboard.

To really get the average consumer, it’ll need to be around the price of a MacBook. If they can do that, it’ll sell boatloads.

Although, if they really care about gaming, it’ll need a VR controller, not just a gamepad

The funny thing is, they use the same ingredients for the photos… but they very selectively position and melt/toast everything

The employee making your burger isn’t going to care if the cheese isn’t perfectly positioned, or that the burger patties aren’t perfectly charred.

What it really needed was a good app.

It’s still glitchy though… like on memmy, if you swipe too far to downvote, and go back, the color for upvote is still the downvote color

Because Lemmy isn’t as conveniently accessed, and it’s just slow.

It’s also confusing.
