I love N++ and have been an advocate for it since discovering it in 2010 while looking for solutions to help less-technical users edit config files.

I have installed VMs on Linux and Mac boxes just to use this because I have not found anything close to this good and pray for the day this is ported. I am just not that good at vim

there's some good wine based packages that you can install to get it on Linux. you don't have to install and configure a vm
