On laptop you have to tilt the screen towards you a lot more than usual and look at it just above the function keys. On desktop you have to stand up for the same perspective.

Is perspective really considered an "illusion"? While this demonstrates perspective it at no point makes me see something that isn't real.

That's an unhelpfully restrictive definition of illusion that is itself illusory. An illusion is also:
A sensation originated by some external object, but so modified as in any way to lead to an erroneous perception; as when the rolling of a wagon is mistaken for thunder.
The text is hidden or revealed through a change in perspective. That is the illusion.

i used to have a phone with the "charging hole" on the left side near the top. your tricks don't work on me.
It's a good thing shit like snow crash doesn't exist because if it did we'd be trolling people to tilt their phone to look and making them alt + f4 life.
You can write code like this by stretching a fat rubber band around a ruler, then writing on it. It’s only legible when stretched.
This is one where the visual impaired text should also reveal the joke

I've seen so many of these I have gained the ability to read them straight on. In this case it doesn't matter, but I always feel like I've got one over the meme creator when it says something like "You look dumb holding your phone like that"

If you're at your computer and don't want to break a monitor trying to tilt it, just smoosh it vertically in MS paint or Apple iSomething to edit images. Edit: sorry what am I thinking - GIMP obviously
