This is the factory that builds the Brightdrop delivery van that isn’t doing so hot. Evidently it cost $20,000 more than the competition from Ford, so nobody is buying them.

They've sold only 497 in 2023, and 1529 in 2024 (announcements are orders of magnitude higher, but they don't announce the cancellation side.)

It's basically just enough to say the factory is open without producing much of anything.

I heard they were offering 15k-20k off a couple weeks ago, but it's a dealer rebate, so it isn't normal pricing or even accessable by the general public.

Looked like a neat setup for a diy camper van, but it's not a great price or range

Two models of the BrightDrop Zevo are made on site and sales have lagged behind the competition, with numbers released by GM showing a total of 427 vehicles sold in Canada in 2024 and 1,529 in the United States.

That's 1.5 vehicles sold per employee.
