Also I don’t think the story is talking about birds sitting on high voltage lines that are on those tall metal towers — the problem is with the telephone poles running through wooded neighborhoods. These are easy to bury.
Disconnected nacelles and programmable matter were complete turn offs for me.
Or you know we could bury the power lines like we do other utilities.
So is the brain rewiring at some point? Or does it get damaged? Or is it prewired and then turns on at some point? Depression is a disease, but people usually aren’t born depressed.
It’s a great show. They tried to remake it a few years ago, but it paled in comparison to the original.

Sounds like humans. Not sure why scientists would think all apes would use the same language. Even giving a middle finger isn’t a universal gesture across our species.

Japan is currently holding clinical trials. I think that’s the closest we’ve come to actually seeing this happen.
I would love to see more co-ed team sports at the jr high and high school level. Could be interesting if the teams were required to have a certain percentage of male and female on the court/field, with transgender counting as either. People take school sports way too seriously.
I’d say she’s been trying, but I don’t know that anything has been achieved yet. Still an improvement over what we had before.
This makes me wish I was rich like Steve Jobs’ widow so I could donate new, roomy, gorgeous branch libraries everywhere.
I was surprised to see a nice library in Lexington as part of the list. I was completely grossed out by the “sponsored by Sealy tempur-pedic” wall though. Inviting corporate sponsorship is just inviting future censorship.
