An example: https://www.thenextdroid.com/topics/tutorials/root/. This Ellis Gibson person. Very good with the find/replace button.

Maybe you know of a browser extension to hide all these?

Use another search engine. I stopped using Google for this reason. Here are some besides the obvious alternatives:

I highly, HIGHLY recommend https://kagi.com/. They have a free version with limited searches but nothing compared to it and I quickly shelled out a fiver for the basic sub. It skips the bullshit and you can find everything fast. It also has an academic search toggle which is fantastic and a bunch of other things.

Of particular note for your query, check out: https://search.marginalia.nu/

This is the way. Google isn't worth the hassle anymore these days.

Duckduckgo (for any language) and Brave search (for english) are the best "set it and forget it" search engines

I also strongly recommend using Librewolf or Brave instead of any other browser you could be using. Again, set it and forget it.

Your browsing experience will get much better on mobile and desktop, and our beloved tech behemoths will get less money. Win-win!

uBlacklist exists but you have to manually block sites individually. Not many people have made premade block lists for it yet

thanks for the recommendation! I just installed it, and can at least add my own list.
