I'd say the stuff in the anime isn't even that bad but the content beyond it just keeps getting worse.
I don't remember it fully but I think he got some sort of fox girl in his harem that was like literally just born and he was like "hehe can't wait to have the sex with you hehehe" so that was pretty bad.
I've read a lot of bad LN/WNs and redo was one of the worse.
I think you have the wrong perspective on it, it shows very well how mentally ill he is wich is the actual point of the story in my eyes.
I don't feel like the series does anything to show that behavior in a negative light though.
MC is pretty much a mary sue, everything he does works out perfectly for him in the end and he is never punished for any of the horrible shit he does even if it would logically make sense.
All of the side characters in his harem go from "I am a strong woman who will fight for herself!" to "UwU I'm a little (generally literally little, they're all pretty much children) slut for healer daddy~"
It's pretty badly written even if it's just supposed to be a degen power fantasy.
I think its a well written psychosis that tells the story of a dead child that got abused and was permanently on drugs.
Its supposed to be like that, the author made some very well written novels as well.
That just feels like cope to me, there's plenty of characters that are horrible human beings that are also written well.
Edit: Checked the writer out and they also wrote The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat and I swear to god going through that I went "isn't this just redo of healer without the rape?"
