Genius transfer market nous from Boehly's Boys. Could have just spent 100m two months ago when that was clearly Brighton's asking price, instead ended up with this absolute farce. It's not like this is the first time this happens either, when are people going to learn that Brighton doesn't budge?
On the other side of the coin, what a gift to Tony Bloom that Liverpool bid was. No idea who did the negotiating for Chelsea but they got absolutely taken to the cleaners. The sell-on clause is pure comedy.
