His words earlier that day:

Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Do you think Tarzan means "I missed the vine" as in he failed to grab it, or do you think he means "I miss the vine" as in he's emotionally affected by its absence?

Like how introspective is Tarzan being in his last moments?

Neither. John Clayton II, Viscount of Greystoke taught himself English at a young age from books that his parents brought with them to the jungle. It took him a while to learn to pronounce the language, but grammar was never a problem.

So we're mistaking Tarzan for George of the Jungle.

(I am aware of what Vine was, essentially a proto-TikTok centered around extremely short videos that got plenty of attention from users but failed to find financial success and is thus now shut down. A person name Jean above misses this service, which Nicky humorously misreads as something said by Tarzan, the joke which I am continuing to riff on.)

Now this is good, clean humour. Not antagonizing anyone, subverting expectations, with a splash of nostalgia and tropical images springing to mind, it's like spa day for the brain.

"oh no, not again"
