worf's mok'bara class probably did more for the enterprise crew's mental health than troi did
TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Hating someone off of their race, culture, creed, sexuality, or identity is not remotely acceptable. Mistakes can happen but do your best to respect others.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon' and fuck over our artist friends.
Fun will now commence.

My struggle... Is heroic ๐ฎ
I never want to be mentally healthy now
Then you have already lost, and are without honor.
I don't need to fight the demons if I can become them! I'll show you all!
Even if you succeed, your people will reject you. You're a demon, a monster who's rage only increased as she slaughtered millions of foes and innocents a like, all for the name of perfection
Counterpoint, defeating a seemingly undefeatable enemy is even more heroic.
Also, a fight that you are not trying to win is not an honorable fight.
Counterpoint, my self care regimen involves regular screaming rants that culminate in spirited slogans like "I'll show you all"
If nobody got me
I know [Disagreeability = 99.7th percentile] got me
Klingon Warrior: Growing crops isn't a battle!
Klingon Farmer: I thought that once, but then the tribbles arrived.
I am just infatuated with the lawyer Klingon from an episode of DS9. And there is also art and music in Klingon culture which begs the question: How do you relate everything in a society back to being warriors and turning everything into a battle worthy of a Klingon?
What about Kolos, the advocate from ENT?
True baller.
There's an episode where someone ends up on a klingon farming world (I entierly forget the character and series) and the takeaway is that klingons basically have a warrior caste that are really the only ones the federation has encountered up to that point. The rest of the klingons respect their soldiers but aren't really into the same dogma.
I guess if it's a state of mind, then everything can be viewed as a battle.
Today I wage war on THE LAUNDRY PILE!
I, skilled strategist that I am, sit at my war desk and prepare my tactics. This year, I shall pay FAR LESS TAXES!
Today is a good day to dye my hair etc...
Pakled therapist:
You are sad.
Being sad is not good. You should not be sad.
Try not being sad.
Did that work? No?
Now I'm sad too.
We are both sad. We need a therapist.
Pakled to Therapist: You can make us want to go outside?
Should I make a Klingon LLM?
Uhhhh YES
I mean probably

Is it a group of people?
I'd really like to hear Micheal Dorn quote this.
Sure, but scraggly General Martok gives it the gravitas needed in that moment to Garak, as it's coming from a more seasoned warrior.
Wait, it's a real quote?
Not exactly, but there are similar memorable quotes.
DS9:
[There is no greater enemy than one's own fears ...] (https://youtu.be/h2tzdbBgXC8?si=Ymk6HyfunWPzxm0P)
Lower Decks:
"Sito was a warrior. You do not honor her."
"You didn't know her."
"Do you follow every order from your commanders?"
"No."
"Sito made her choice. You want to solve puzzles and mysteries? Your friend gave her life to protect that. She would not approve of your actions."
Love that scene!
This Is great
Klingons were never honobru. They fight like cowards, hiding behing cloaking devices. They backstab each other more than Romulans too. Worf was an anomaly. Essentially, Worf is a Klingon weeb who read about Klingon bushido ideals and propaganda and thought it was true.
