Combo of the embarrassment over the nude Chun Li incident, and (almost certainly more importantly) the desire to stop people from moding in their DLC to SF6, since there was media coverage of people modding in the outfit 3 DLC.
Doesnt explain doing it to old games tho really.

Damn, the last time I heard of that happening, they gave me a lifetime ban from Walmart.
First I'm hearing of this, hilarious but god damn why did they have to come up with another reason for companies to try and crack down on modding.

People want in games they paid for and just modded, the company is still getting the cash so what's the harm?
Are they butthurt over the Black Mirror thing?
I imagine its not the mod existing, its the public embarassment. Still dumb though.
Being able to cheat also removes any incentive to buy cheat, unlock and consumable item microtransactions
