I am researching SIBs and stumbled upon the Seagull, called "Dolphin Mini" outside of China, that supposedly used SIBs.

But now it looks like it uses LFP after all?

Was this a China-only thing?

Yeah this is really odd.

I could find a lot of contradicting info and even chinese sites only mention LFP batteries.
