[rant] in Canada, Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), for people with unbearable suffering, is indeed a great benefit. This ~~fucking~~ professor at McGill University, is trying to confuse this fact by calling this "suicide" or "death as a benefit" which sounds like a contradiction. Well, ~~fucking~~ professor : no it is not a contradiction, and anyone who has seen someone suffering enough or anyone who has suffered enough knows that, at some point, while suffering enough, death is in fact a fucking benefit.
