I wouldn't jump to conclusions.
What conclusion am I jumping to? The psychological effects of promiscuous lifestyles are well documented. Sex workers across all domains of the industry have massively elevated rates of suicide, depression, and various severe disorders including schizophrenia or drug abuse disorders. And in the documentary she herself admits that she is not screening these men and is exposing herself to great risk. Obviously, she is engaging in self-destructive behavior. And obviously, those around her who are enabling this behavior are doing so for pure profit with no concern for her. She clearly needs help.
I bet you someone invented a little latex solution and a bodyguard like job for this

you do realize there is psychological damage from the stunts she is pulling, right? Like, getting railed by endless strangers does not leave you unscathed. Did you watch the documentary? She literally breaks down in tears. She is not happy. She is being taken advantage of. This is not healthy. The brain is not intended to endure that kind of psychological trauma, even if its self-induced.
If she chooses to do it, who cares. As long as she wasn't forced or pressured into it I really don't care, it's 100% a you problem.
After all, maybe all those problems you prattled off are because people like you demonize these people so much. Maybe if they were accepted more they wouldn't have those horrible rates. Ever think about that? That posts like this directly cause those rates to go up?

You're a myopic p.o.s with the intellectual capacity of a worm.
The reality is, consent does not transcend morals, societal good, or personal health. And people who try to pretend that personal choice is the only thing that matters are retards who understand nothing of the complexities of human motivation or the damage a person can do to societal norms and themselves on a "voluntary basis". Get a grip.

I'm not saying it isn't her choice, I'm saying she obviously needs help. That even if its her choice, that doesn't mean she doesn't need help. If you saw someone engaging in self-destructive behavior, you would still want to help them right? A crack addict technically "chooses" to do drugs, that doesn't mean you should just leave them to themselves.
I leave drug addicts alone. I see them all the time, give them room, they are adults and made their choice.
obviously, at a granular level, there's nothing you can do outside of refuse to give them money. the same applies to porn stars etc. But from a top-down level, like, a policy level, these people need help.
So it comes back to body autonomy. People can't use their bodies to do things you don't like... thats a hard rule to enforce... how far do you go? Can't marry someone you don't like? Can't have sex with people you don't like? Only sex for making babies? No tattoos?
And where ever you draw the line, someone else will want to draw the line someplace else.
Reinforcing age old historical norms is a great place to start. Like, I dunno, making sex work illegal. making non-committal sex taboo again. there are a lot of ways to do this.
The fact that you equate sex work with slitting wrists says a lot more about you than anything else, and shows you aren't willing to talk in good faith, your mind is made up.
God forbid it's something the want to do and something they enjoy doing. It's not hard drugs, they aren't addicted to it. It doesn't harm them, if it does harm them then I'm all for helping them get out. If they chose it, it doesn't harm them, it doesn't harm you, then who cares. But you obviously equate sex work to harming yourself so I'd say you're already completely one-minded about this.
you don't know much about neuroscience, or psychology, do you? You don't know much about neuroplasticity and morphology and sexual neurochemistry, do you?... you are naive. The act of sex is a neurochemical experience, that has evolved to directly change neurochemistry, and if pushed beyond certain bounds, the powerful cocktails of neurotransmitters released during the act of intimacy have damaging effects in the way they change cognition. There are literal brains scans of prostitutes and sex workers over time that show how the brain changes in ONLY NEGATIVE WAYS.
Bro literally watch the documentary. She breaks down in tears, and says she feels like she's "only good for one thing". You don't understand anything. "CoNsEnT" does not transcend morals, societal good, or personal health.
You think it "doesn't harm them" but it OBVIOUSLY DOES. Watch the documentary you fucking moron. Literally, just question your assumption for HALF A SECOND and look up some studies and you'll find that this behavior IS HARMFUL. And not just to her, but to society as a whole. So of course it impacts me! Jeez, you have the intelligence of a rock.
But people like you want your porn, you want to be able to do whatever you want and ignore the consequences, so you moralize consent and pretend you're enlightened and open-minded and ignore all the warning signs because you yourself are along for the ride. You disgust me.
