Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Congrats, you've been played into infighting with the only legitimate opposition to Republicans, very cool 👌

It's not really infighting, it's just exasperation. Nothing I say here matters at all, I'm just a fart in the wind. I have no voice to be heard outside of here so I vent my frustrations with the idiots in charge.

I will continue to vote for the feckless idiots because I have no real meaningful choice and as you say we need to oppose the Republican agenda.

At least you realize it, unlike a lot of people who sat out this last election and got us into this mess.

We really need ranked choice voting, or something similar... Democrats will always be my strategic vote, but they'll pretty much never be the first ranked vote from me.

Has to be RCV for me. In STAR voting optimizing your voting power means only picking one candidate, or your second picks could spoil you first choice. In STAR when voting for the underdog, Id never so much as rank another candidate because it would mathematically soften my vote.

With this opposition, you might as well be a one party state like China. Even if Democrats win, Republicans still end up in a position to block whatever they don't like.

As long as Democrats keep chasing Wall Street donors instead of listening to what people want, I'm going to keep shitting on them.

While your not wrong, OP is still right and both things can be true. Its not in fighting as I'm sure OP isnt a senator that can oppose the appointment. But the anger is real and should be felt and heard DNC has helped walk in this era of shit we inherit.

I thought 45 killed off enough supporters to prevent a return but that wasn't the case. So OP rage, find other like minded ppl who see what you see, because resistance is now and there's nothing better to fuel a resistance than anger and rage

~~infighting with the only legitimate opposition to Republicans~~ criticizing the billionaire-owned controlled opposition that is as complicit as any non-Republican in allowing fascism to rise again.

Fixed it for you.

Keep backing the fucking losers then. Do you feel in charge?

How does backing the winners here make you a winner? Who wants to be a winner of most racist?
