Primary AND backup coffee places both closed for renovations?! You've gotta be shitting me. Any coffee recommendations around Melbourne central? Maccas just aint cutting it.

Yes. Shortstop, Little Rogue (though might be one of the closed ones?), Krimper.

Cheap options: The $1 coffee at the Monopoly place is good for the price. The $3 coffee at Tigers Den (after 12PM) is OK for the price.

Shortstop is nice, but the temptation to get a 7 dollar doughnut is oftern too great. Tigers den are shut. Forgot about little rouge. Bakemono was the other one, I'm a sucker for those sesame seed honey things.

I can vouch for shortstop. Used to live on Little Lonsdale opposite the Children's Court, and would go to Shortstop for their coffee and DELICIOUS DOUGHNUTS ๐Ÿคค๐Ÿคค๐Ÿคค

Puzzle coffee on east side of Melbourne Central is decent

I've found them to be a little hit/miss, but when they're good they are usually pretty good so i'll roll the dice. Cheers.
