He's serious and skilled at making 2hoes have hearts in their eyes...

"Sometimes there's just too much going on... so a good computer helps with that, y'know?"

"I know what you mean! When they keep shooting so much stuff at you, you can end up in a sticky situation, right?"

"Yea! Things get especially hard and heated when they gang up on you and push you down and have their way with you..."

"What?"

"What?"

Those that don't know: What's that?

That that do: Oh no....

"16GB RAM to play a bunch of text-based erogames? Isn't that a bit..."

"You're right, I need MOAR."

She seems pretty happy.

A requested translation.

TL notes:

  1. The SFX is messily drawn, so it's easier to cover them in the translator/translation notes.
  2. Panel 1 SFX: Yukari has a cat-like smile (Nyaa) as she pops out, and she's giggling (hehe~) drunkedly.
  3. Panel 2 SFX: I don't know why the bottle of alcohol also appears with a cat-like meow/sound out of the gap, but that's how it is.
  4. Panel 3 SFX: The trailing "yo yo yo~" is probably to show her voice becoming softer.
  5. Panel 4 SFX: She's spinning around (shupi-n! is the transliterated SFX) from her previous drunk sadness.
  6. Not entirely sure about the translation for Reimu's first speech bubble in the second panel (すでに随分出来あがってるわね), it's possible she's declining politely (e.g. "I'm good, thanks") rather than making a comment about Yukari having had enough to drink.

Artist Commentary: Drunk Yukari

I wonder if Remilia would be glad or jealous to have Flan out of her hair…

That's no way to talk about Yamane, Flan…

TL notes:

  1. The translation for the first speech bubble at the top right is a guess - a more direct translation would be "Hey Flan, if you're gaming here, step back". That sounded a little curt and didn't make sense, so I interpreted it as Marisa telling Flan to sit somewhere else while she was braiding her hair.
  2. There's no entry for the SFX あみあみ (ami ami) where Marisa is braiding Flan's hair, but 網 (ami) means "net" (whether a fishing net or network). I suppose braided hair could be described as a "net", so the SFX was just replaced with a verb describing the action, but it could also be "Weaving" or "Folding".

Artist Commentary: None.

Made in anticipation of questions about eraToho games from an upcoming translation post. Also made to respond to past questions on the previous tierlist post.

This list is non-exhaustive - some tags are left out (e.g. NTR, cheating, etc.). It is aimed primarily at giving the reader an understanding of the depths of depravity they may encounter in each game. (Of course, the "bad ends" of some games higher up in the list may result in some tags from the lower games appearing there. Similarly, it's possible to play these games with some of the more problematic/offensive/undesirable content being disabled and have a fun, wholesome vanilla seggs run).

I can't recall if there is any "extreme" content such as watersports, scat, ryona/torture, guro, snuff in the games, so those that are more knowledgeable can fill it in if they want.

All things considered, eraTohoK can be pretty dark and brutal (especially if the "evil" factions are enabled and they capture/kidnap the girls), so it's possible for it to be ranked on the same level, or even lower, than ReverseTentaclePalace (RTP). This list ranks it higher than RTP simply because RTP has a more personal feeling of despair (doing bad stuff to girls stuck in a dungeon) rather than the "war is shit, horrible things happen when you're captured" background of eraTohoK.

...why not check out Touhou Jesus after this?

She can't say no, but you should have said no when she offered… that's not cool, man.

Sometimes you translate a piece and you regret it… poor Mystia.

TL notes:

  1. In the first speech bubble of the first image, the original text uses the feminine version of "boss" (basically Ms. Boss). "Mistress" isn't suitable since she's the owner of the shop, not the master of a house, so "Ma'am" was chosen a sign of respect over something like "ladyboss" which might have different implications in English.
  2. For the second image, there is no indication that the first speech bubble is quoted as a joke (e.g. using signifiers such as "). If there were at least quotation marks, the joke could be interpreted as quoting from a porno or something (although it is still a joke in poor taste given the situation), but the lack of any quotation marks in the original text suggests that calling it a "joke" is a flimsy fig leaf at best for their propositioning of the poor girl.
  3. The "Congratulations" and artist's commentary ("I wish you all happiness" would be well-wishes said at a wedding) suggests that this is meant to be written as a "Surprise! She actually had feelings for the landlord all along!", but... if that was the intention, it did not successfully give that impression.

Artist's Commentary: I wish you all happiness. Thank you for your likes and attention.

Man, I'd take Suwako being pranked over this bullying of poor Mystia.

I am reminded of a certain doujin where this set-up sounds familiar…

An adapted translation of Part 1. Part 2 available here, and the seggsy Part 3 will be posted soon.

TL notes:

  1. Translations adapted from artist's original translations on Pixiv.
  2. Alternate translation for "Part 1" would be "Prequel".

Artist's Commentary: Wouldn't it be better to draw these in the form of black and white comics? Thank you for your likes.

This whole "I don't want to be with you, but I also don't want others to be with you" situation sounds similar to the Outside World…

Compared to her sister…

It's ironic that this image seems to be an interview, but she's not actually said anything in reply.

With this, the "Gensokyo Romantic Experience Survey" series comes to an end! Hope you enjoyed it!

TL notes:

  1. The translation for the second line of the artist's commentary (もちろん生粋の吸血鬼たる彼女が何もしないわけもなく…。) is a guess. Excluded translations considered were "Of course, being a genuine vampire, there's no way she won't do anything" (DeepL) and "Of course, as a vampire, there's no reason for her to do anything..." (Google Translate)

Artist Commentary: Since vampires are active at different times of the day compared to humans, they can go into the village at night and do as they like! Of course, there's no reason for her to be a pure vampire and not do anything else…

She looks bored out of her mind. Maybe she's thinking about her next meal.

This is definitely how the "Hey Mister" came about.

The top comment on Danbooru is gold: "If Remilia's looks have brought any man to their knees, it's only while they're holding a lollipop."

TL notes:

  1. Translation adapted from Danbooru

Artist Commentary: A young lady who has lived for 500 years, an unimaginably long life for humans. If she's lived this long, surely she should have had more romantic experience than humans… no…?

Those upturned eyes are sure to melt anyone's heart.

"Pure and innocent…" do you believe her?

TL notes:

  1. Translation adapted from Danbooru
  2. An alternate translation for the speech bubble at the bottom right would be "Tewi's a pure and innocent rabbit so she wouldn't have done anything like that."

Artist Commentary: I was surprised at how long Tewi has lived. Because of that, she seems to have lots of experience with the bitterness and sweetness of love, and maybe even more than that.

…so those doujins were true…?

I bet you're hoping it's just hand-holding, but… how do you hold the hand of an animal?

TL notes:

  1. Translation adapted from Danbooru, fixed a mistake in the Danbooru translation where it was fourteen, rather than four, animals.
  2. The Danbooru translation has her saying "I know it sounds a bit dark" in the third speech bubble, but this is a translation of her saying "dark image" in the original text. "Dark" has connotations of "shady" or "mysterious" in English, so I think the original meaning the image was saying was something closer to "deviant" or "bad boy/girl", hence it has been translated as "degenerate" instead. Alternative translations include "deviant", "perverse", etc.
  3. イッチャッテ in the artist commentary is sometimes translated as "I'm cumming", but it can also be used to describe someone whose mind is lost (e.g. feeling high on drugs or other things). "Crazy" or "Yabai" would be possible translations for it.
  4. I am not sure if マス in the artist commentary translates to "mask" (e.g. her face or what look she has), or "musk" (the smell she is emitting). I'm guessing the former, but the latter may also be possible in this context.

Artist Commentary: She has a pretty crazy look 😲

She's an equal opportunity carnivore that doesn't discriminate…

Translation of an untranslated piece~

Can't have "youkai" without eating "you", I guess.

TL notes:

  1. I'm not sure whether the artist commentary's "荒れてた" is supposed to be translated as "became ruined" or "lost her temper". If it's the former, the translation would be something like "It seems there was a time when everyone's idol loli demon Suika-san was ruined after going around too much." If it's the latter, the translation would be closer to "It seems there was a time when everyone's idol loli demon Suika-san had gone through too much and lost her temper..."

Artist Commentary: See TL notes.
