People only read the headline /smh

China is moving forward with a variety of investment and infrastructure projects in Central Asia designed to boost exports to the region and beyond.

In Uzbekistan, Chinese executives are seeking to tighten their grip on the electric vehicle market. The Chinese firm Henan Suda signed a deal earlier in December with Uzbekistan’s Energy Ministry to build upwards of 50,000 electric vehicle charging stations around the country by 2033. Already in 2024, 2,500 charging stations are to be constructed. The project is projected to serve about 700,000 electric vehicles when fully built-out. During the first 10 months of 2023, China exported over 20,000 electric vehicles to Uzbekistan.

This is more like they want to export more ev so they build more stations/infrastructures.

An alternative to Kubuntu is TuxedoOS (similar to PopOS (Gnome) but for KDE). You can also try KDE Neon.

You can use VM to install and try new distro, worst case you make a new VM and start again.

For learning, if it was me I would just roll with Arch, using distro like Garuda that has BTRFS rollback or even EndeavourOS. A fuck up can be saved from BTRFS rollback, back up dual boost or 2nd pc.

Swtor, a new APAC server has launched recently, also new patch 7.4 will come out tomorrow. Starting all over again and unlock everything again has been refreshing. Also new server so I don't have to deal with inflation(+ exploits) over the years.

This should keep me occupied for quite some time.

Do you need 40+ tabs available all the times? Otherwise use Auto Tab Discard.

This is from someone with tabs opened "a little bit" higher than 40. side-eye-1side-eye-2

An absolute bombshell of an article on Xinjiang from Neue Zürcher Zeitung

First of all the article is written by probably the 2 most highly respected German sinologists: Thomas Heberer, a senior professor of Chinese politics and society at the University of Duisburg-Essen and Helwig Schmidt-Glintzer, a senior professor of Chinese studies and the director of the China Centrum Tübingen (CCT).

They write that even though "the travel group could not ascertain general discrimination against the Uighur language and culture, in Xinjiang, as in all areas of ethnic minorities with their language and script, the main language of instruction in schools from secondary level is Mandarin. The native language is always offered as a subject in compulsory schooling."

Their conclusion: "If the human rights situation continues to normalize demonstrably, the EU should initiate dialogue and reconsider the sanctions imposed on China due to Xinjiang."

And if there are any genocides going on, things like this wouldn't even happen: Xinjiang defies Western curbs as foreign trade hits record high, surges by 47%

I've seen people got virus from 1377x.to. If your ISP blocks 1337x.to, use a VPN.

Even if you use magnet link, you still do not know how safe the files you download is, you need to know if the uploader is trustworthy, and uploader from 1337x is more trustworthy than 1377x. Even then, still need to be careful, 100 good torrents and 1 bad one sneaks in occasionally is how they get u.

Lol, this reminds me of Skyrim Arthmoor, dude went crazy at people removing the gate from his mod.

Going into a thread late and seeing deleted comment replying by a bunch of comments. I can kinda guess what the OP said but it would be better if I could see the original comment before deleting.

The possible solution I think is to click the deleted comment like spoiler to view, or add a view button after clicking 3 dots button.

What do you think?
