That's truly as lightweight as you're going to get. Cool little script.

Very interesting comment. I would ask to compare the results to the US justice system but that's an incredibly low bar. Do you have any insight into the results vs one of their peers who do not have this particular facet of the justice system? Or is there any data that shows if this works better than without it? Instinctually it would seem like it's better but if there's any data behind it I would love to read more.
Re: your comment on the life sentence without parole. I agree and I did not mean to insinuate that this should be a thing. I was more saying that there could be a minimum sentence for serious crimes and say you get 20 years but that means 20 minimum and release only if "rehabilitated". Not "20" with parole in half that. I guess it's just a matter of semantics but if it's 20 but possibility to get out in half it should just be called 10 with release only possible after that if "rehabilitated".
Lmao I clearly said I don't run Windows on any of my devices so what is your point here? That running Linux is a dystopia?
Even if he's being honest about his intention of coming back voluntarily it's still a flight risk as there's the possibility he doesn't come back, changes his mind, etc. No extradition and he has the resources to avoid it anyway.
If you like Heimdall you could run it without Docker. It's a PHP app, you could run nginx and it would be pretty lightweight.
Me too. In fact a lot of the software I do use can simply not be available on Windows, or vastly inferior. Developer tooling is generally much better. Whereas visual editing or corporate programs generally are the opposite.
Revoke his bail as he is now showing an indication of a flight risk.
What's a Linux alternative to Photoshop that is superior?
My favourite part is where they say it's not Linux's fault but you can't handwave it away then the reply is the most handwavey sentence you could come up with.
I don't run Windows on any of my personal machines for reference. Ignoring the fact that businesses do need to use proprietary software at times does not magically make your utopia come true. Reality proves this.
Honestly, the Labour party is not truly interested in doing this. In USA politics (assuming you're familiar with it) the left and right are further apart than in Australian politics.
We have the Greens party which is the left leaning party and the Nationals which are the right. Labour and Liberal are on opposite sides of the middle and they team up with the Greens and the Nationals (respectively) to make up the numbers.
I dropped it with a pop socket on the back and it landed right on the pop socket. You can see where it pushed through the display and caused that circular crack. It was maybe 80% as bad when it happened, the other 20% happened after using it for a year like that. I got so used to reading text only on the top half of the screen 🤣 I loved that phone so much I didn't want to get rid of it which I only did because large pieces of glass were coming out.
I ended up getting a Pixel 7 Pro. I only ever had Google phones before the 1+ so it made sense just to switch back after the direction 1+ took around that time.
New Zealand is technically part of Australia anyway (when you have something we want to claim).
