The movie was like someone reading the cliffnotes version of the book and making a movie out of just that. Major overarching plot points are there but how they got there and character development is all lost.

If you're going through depression or a hard time in life, I recommend reading Midnight Library first. Otherwise, How to Stop Time is an enjoyable read.

Currently halfway through How to Stop Time by Matt Haig. After Midnight Library I wanted to give his earlier books a try and they have not disappointed. I'd recommend it to anyone that enjoyed Midnight Library. Still reads like his style but different enough that it doesn't feel like all his books are just a copy paste of each other.

A few are mentioned in the article:

"Louisiana Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards vetoed three bills, including one that banned gender-affirming care for most transgender minors, and HB 466, the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill that prohibited teachers from discussing sexual orientation or gender identity in class"

Soon they'll find themselves crossing state lines for life saving procedures, just like women needing life saving abortions already do in their states.

Seeing as how the instance is just getting back up, I'm wondering if the stance on defederation is the same or just haven't gotten around to it yet. I remember before we defederated from exploding-heads. A new one that others have pointed out that should be looked into is rammy.site
