The government denies that the busing is connected to the Olympics. But we obtained an email, which was first reported by the newspaper L’Équipe, in which a government housing official said the goal was to “identify people on the street in sites near Olympic venues” and move them before the Games.

I think the 8MP ultrawide is probably a deliberate attempt to ensure they don't cannibalize their higher end phones. The poco x3 that was released 3 years ago had a 13mp ultrawide. Similarly priced phones released later downgraded the ultrawide cam.

It happened multiple times during the 0.19.0 testing phase where federation will break until a new update was being tested. Unfortunately it seems the bug has persisted into final release.
