This only happened to me once: with the live action Tom & Jerry film. What a horrible movie.

How? Why who?

Could it be that some people found the left to be too extreme but they weren't ready to vote for a Republican yet?

To be fair, like most left wing echo chambers like Reddit, you're probably more likely to see extreme content there than amongst most people on the left.

Honestly, this trailer isn't all that bad. Clunky editing in the beginning and the existence of CGI elves is just a reminder of the jobs stolen from real people with dwarfism but all in all it's not bad. Love the structuring of not even bringing up the poisoned apple until the very end.

All of that said I don't care about the movie and won't be seeing it at all. Just a bit annoyed by people raging over this trailer when it's really not all that bad.

While you're not wrong here, the race-swapping is still weird.

These types of live-action remakes have been failing so I wonder if Disney does race-swapping like this just to grab attention they wouldn't otherwise get.

They can't do that for Mufasa, unfortunately.

Expecting anything except defense of Team Blue from most Lemmy users is a lost cause.

Yes, in Springfield. No one knows who he was though, why he had the goose, or his nationality, although the person taking the picture thought he was Samoan.

I hope they set Euphoria in college or something.
