Republicans didn't even want him running now in 2024, but his cult are fanatics and enough of them that unless they start unified behind an alternate candidate he'll keep being where he is. During the R primaries this fact was talked about a lot. All the other candidates together had enough to beat him but none of them were willing to be behind another candidate. All the losers endorsing Trump instead of others really didn't help.

That is again due to how they are treated and funding constriction. NASA has not received the same "grace" in failures that you are giving SpaceX. They'd love to do more missions and they're also better about doing things right. You should know whether your rocket works before it's launched just like a bridge needs to work as built. NASA also doesn't get money from it's missions. Whatever they put in orbit doesn't generate revenue it is only for public data gathering.

That is such a crass reference to Challenger... SpaceX mishaps so far have not killed people. Will you still be giving them leeway when they do?

These same advances could be owned by all of us if we hadn't spent every year since Kennedy whittling away at NASAs budget to do stuff. The space shuttle was only ever supposed to be temporary but Congress never funded the much better replacements.

SpaceX only brings its shareholders forward, with our tax money. The problem isn't about the technology but who owns the tech.

Did he do it drunk on a dare? or believed Trump's lies and decided he'd try before he learned just how (appropriately)harsh the laws are?

He's a college student not a middleschooler.

Mostly, the private jet. Idk if she has yachts or mansion(s) but those would also count. It's not that ordinary people don't pollute but the scale. The top 50 billionaires each on average pollute more every 1.5hours than an ordinary person does their entire life.

Approximately, 5840 peoples worth a year and they have the wealth to choose otherwise. People charge their phone largely because they have to to stay employed/connected nowadays.

When people have hoarded so much and actively make the world worse instead of better theres no option but to question their morality.

Idk about Allred actually getting Cruz. He's in Texas, he's black and polling I've seen has been largely unchanged with Allred down 3-5%. As seems usual we're counting on women and minorities to do enough to stop the worst but I really wonder if we can get the best.

Voters seem to have goldfish memory every election about how conservatives keep fucking us everytime they're in power.

That bill went through with a veto-proof majority of all Rs and enough Dems.

Biden is a zionist, however, he's also a politician who understands that the genocide was not and is not super favorable domestically. It's also not a good look for the ceasefire negotiations to be as unsuccessful as they've been. If the opposition wasnt the orange turd this election could have easily gone R just like Reagan v Carter with Iranian hostage crisis.

Useful in quite limited scenarios besides as food for something else. Dependent on/creating rotting stuff. Disgusting to most people.
