Lots of others have made good suggestions so far. The only one I'll add is, do you have anyone you can work together with? Or alternately, any sort of teaching assistant or tutor programs? It helps a lot because there's a lot of rote memorization when you're starting out. There are a lot of annoying things like language syntax, error messages, etc. where it's helpful to have a second set of eyes to help break through those mental blocks. Getting a quicker turnaround on these kinds of things will make the development process much more enjoyable.

No one is forcing people to live in more efficient urban centers. What's truly asinine though is that these are practically non-existent in North American (and the USA in particular). And in some places, it's even illegal!
Again, no one is forcing you to live in one. But why are people so hellbent on ensuring that no one does?
Smaller refrigeration units and less food waste this way as well!
I've been watching twitch a lot more lately. In fact, I practically never watch anything on youtube itself. I just download using yt-dlp (either individual videos, or entire playlists/channels of things that I like), but even then, I would say my habits these days are 75% twitch, 25% youtube.
I know these two services aren't close to being the same, but it definitely is an alternative.
That's how they always get you. People start out saying, "oh, it's not that much". But paying the collector doesn't make him go away, it just makes him come back for more.
Never, ever, ever let a large company start charging you for something that has always been free. If you do, they'll just see how much they can try to squeeze from you. They'll start jacking up the price, and charging you ads. And who knows what else.
And let's not forget that youtube never had any ads maybe 10-15 years ago. Now they have ads and fees, in spite of the fact that they're making more money today than they ever had before. It's utterly fucked up how backwards all of this is. Google makes enough money. They should be providing more things for free, not less.
+1 for indie games. I really think we're living in the golden age of indie gaming with tools like Godot, Unreal, and Unity (yes, yes, I know, but Unity is probably still the most popular engine for now). As indies get empowered more and more by tools like this, and AAA studios get greedier and greedier, I can't find any reason to play anything that isn't from an indie game developer.
And most, nearly even all indie games work great on Linux, often even better than their Windows counterparts.
They pay, because at any moment they can come back as a citizen.
But that's true of pretty much every other country in the world as well. So it still doesn't explain why the US is the only one that charges tax on foreign-earned income.
And at what temperatures are C and K equal?
The fact that 99.5% of the global population uses it makes it the objectively correct choice.
The remaining .5% can keep bashing their heads against a wall if they like though
Moral of the story: fuck Walmart!
Corporations are always happy to pander to morality when itβs to their benefit
Seriously. We have fossil fuel companies knowingly and willingly destroying the planet in the name of profits. Where's the outrage over that? Or is that moral and ethical?
But when we're talking about technologies that give power to the people to break from the shackles of the content cartels, then all of a sudden, out come the morality police!
