I'm really happy they got UL certified, I realize this community tends to really like DIY solutions, but if I'm going to recommend an ebike to my parents or to strangers, no way am I recommending one without a lot of safety certifications.
This is a classic solution in search of a problem. The problem with stop lights isn't that corporations control them, the problem with stop lights is that the general population thinks that cars are the only way to get around and demand that city officials optimize street and roads for cars. Adding a bunch of crazy verification steps will not solve this problem.
This is another social problem that technology just can't solve.

I mostly agree with this, I have it on my laptop. Took an hour or two to learn it, used a live image from the website just like any distro. Not for beginners, but someone that is used to arch, after you rtfm it's fine.
Yeah, the problem is his beloved Amsterdam got better based on incremental changed done by advocates, so I don't really blame him while at the same time it's not the right answer, imo. We should all be demanding change.

Not sure if other folks prefer this, but I really enjoyed Deus Ex Revision, which is up on steam and I works fairly well on steam deck with some tweaking:
