I'm trying to change some information for the sidebar and upload some new icon/banners, but when I try to submit, I get the spinning button and it never uploads. Has anybody else seen this?

Yep, that's the beauty of federated instances.

Do you live in or around Rapid City, South Dakota and the Black Hills, or just want to know the new of this area? Go ahead and join the Rapid City community and start posting.

Hope to see you there!

Yes, that is correct, a community for the Popping crowd, as in the pimple/abscess/boil/blackhead type. Come on over and start posting. We all want to see those magnificent pustules.

Any popping images/videos will do.

I agree. I've submitted a bug report already about the username/email address issue.

They will do that if the username and/or email address is already taken. I've seen it on my own instance. There are possibly other reasons as well.

That's great, although I'd like to see some others up there as well to keep the fediverse healthy.

Does anybody know what the hardware specs are that lemmy.world runs on? It would be nice to get an idea of the hardware requirements to scale up that far.

I run my own instance and I have created some communities that I loved back on Reddit. I searched and no similar communities seem to exist in the fedeverse yet. Obviously there is nobody visiting them right now, so how would you go about trying to promote it to attract some discussion?

It could be anything, something weird at night, a sound, a light or a cryptid.

If you followed the guide to use Ansible, there should be a 'extra_themes' folder where you put the css file.

For example, my install is in: /srv/lemmy/feddiverse.org/volumes/lemmy-ui/extra_themes

Nice. I hope this momentum continues to grow.
