"Am I delusional? Keep tellin' myself that it's all good"

“5AM” by Lil Baby captures a deep exploration of the struggle between material success and emotional fulfillment. The song reveals the artist’s introspective journey as he grapples with the consequences of his achievements, his relationships, and his mental state. While he celebrates his wealth, he simultaneously confronts the feelings of loneliness and discontent that can accompany such success, creating a relatable narrative many listeners can resonate with.

In the verses, Lil Baby reflects on conflicting emotions tied to his rise as an artist. The line “How you managed to get everything you want and still ain’t happy?” highlights the irony of wealth, suggesting that even after attaining material desires, true happiness remains elusive. He speaks about losing part of himself, indicating a sacrifice of personal identity in the face of fame and fortune, particularly with the line “Half of me done died, the other half alive.” This duality emphasizes the struggle for balance between his past life and current reality. The mention of his grandmother’s wisdom reinforces the notion that challenges are inherent to things worthwhile, while comments about love and betrayal illustrate the complexity of relationships that often suffer under the weight of ambition. Furthermore, his references to survival instincts and his upbringing in the hood ground his experience in a broader cultural context, where resilience is vital for success.

Overall, “5AM” serves as an honest reflection on Lil Baby’s journey through fame, illustrating how success does not equate to fulfillment. His lyrics encapsulate a blend of vulnerability and toughness, as he examines personal loss, emotional challenges, and the weight of expectations. The song effectively resonates with anyone navigating the complexities of life and ambition, pointing towards the idea that true happiness may lie beyond wealth and status.^[[1] https://genius.com/Lil-baby-5am-lyrics]

Key Points:

  1. AMD Ryzen 7 9800 X3D Dominance: This CPU excels in both overall performance and gaming, making it the clear favorite for high-end builds. Its competitive pricing further enhances its appeal.
  2. Gaming Performance Over Everything: The focus on pure gaming metrics reveals AMD’s continued lead in the gaming CPU market, especially with the 9800 X3D outperforming rivals by significant margins.
  3. Balanced Workstation Gaming: The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X provides a solid compromise for users needing both gaming and productivity capabilities, emphasizing the importance of versatility in CPU choice.
  4. Budget Options Are Limited: The sub-$100 CPU market is aging, with few new entries, highlighting the need for better budget offerings to cater to entry-level gamers.
  5. Upgrade Potential: The AMD Ryzen 7 5700 X3D stands out for its compatibility with existing AM4 motherboards, promoting sustainability and cost-effectiveness in upgrades.
  6. Efficiency Gains: The Ryzen 5 7600 X3D showcases impressive efficiency, demonstrating that high performance does not have to come at the cost of high power consumption.
  7. Intel’s Ongoing Struggles: Intel’s recent generations faced significant stability issues, which have eroded consumer confidence, emphasizing the need for reliable product launches in a competitive market.

Notable comments:

  1. @Loxly-ti4sq | 1 hour ago | The fact that I can use a motherboard from 2017 to run a R7 5700X3D is crazy. Going from R5 3600 to this CPU doubles the framerate on some games, and not to mention the skyrocketing 1% low. As someone who isn't playing at 2k/4k monitor and is rocking a 6700XT for 1080p, I might just wait for AM6 for my next upgrade lol.
  2. @jeffb.6642 | 1 hour ago | It's to the point now that "Stability" needs to be considered when making a CPU purchase, too.
  3. @Kendog | 1 hour ago | I know the best overall gaming CPU is the 9800X3D and the 7800X3D and I haven’t even watched the whole video yet

  4. Historical Context: The current political climate reflects past patterns of labeling dissenters as traitors, echoing McCarthyism and Cold War paranoia.
  5. Defense of Dissent: The defense of dissenting views is crucial in a democracy, yet increasingly threatened by partisan attacks like those against Gabbard.
  6. Media’s Role: The media’s complicity in amplifying unfounded accusations reveals a troubling trend of sensationalism over factual reporting.

  3. Rogan’s Role: Rogan’s inquiry into Weiss’s claims showcases the importance of critical questioning in media, emphasizing accountability for public figures making serious allegations.
  4. Diplomatic Engagement: Gabbard’s meetings with foreign leaders highlight the necessity of diplomatic engagement, challenging the notion that such actions equate to betrayal or complicity.
  5. Historical Context: The comparison of Gabbard’s actions to past U.S. leaders meeting controversial figures illustrates that diplomacy has historically been a tool for peace rather than a sign of loyalty to adversaries.
  6. Media Influence: Weiss’s reliance on media narratives (“everyone knows”) reflects how mainstream media can shape public perception through unverified claims, emphasizing the need for critical media literacy.
  7. Polarizing Narratives: The labeling of individuals who seek dialogue with adversaries as traitorous feeds into a dangerous polarization, undermining nuanced discussions about foreign policy and national security.

  3. Aid Blockade: Israel’s continued blockade has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis, indicating a deliberate strategy to control the population in Gaza.
  4. U.S. Military Support: The ongoing military support from the U.S. to Israel, despite its actions, reflects a complex geopolitical relationship that prioritizes strategic alliances over humanitarian needs.
  5. Media’s Role: The shift in media coverage signifies growing awareness and criticism of Israel’s actions, potentially influencing public opinion and policy discussions.
  6. Cycle of Violence: The situation illustrates a cycle where humanitarian needs are neglected amidst ongoing conflict, leading to increased desperation and suffering in Gaza.

  2. Media Response: The intense media reaction to Gabbard’s nomination underscores the establishment’s fear of outsider influence, revealing deep divisions in current political discourse regarding foreign policy and national security.
  3. Foreign Policy Evolution: Trump’s presidency has shifted the GOP’s foreign policy perspective, moving away from interventionist practices. This reflects a broader trend among some Republicans who are reconsidering traditional hawkish stances.
  4. Veteran Credentials: Gabbard’s military experience positions her as a credible voice on national defense, contrasting with critics who have avoided military service while advocating for war.
  5. Establishment Resistance: The pushback against Gabbard indicates a reluctance within the establishment to accept alternative viewpoints on foreign intervention, often branding dissenters as unpatriotic.
  6. Complex Dynamics: The complexities of Trump’s foreign policy team suggest a potential clash between traditional neocon values and Gabbard’s more isolationist stance, leading to unpredictable outcomes.
  7. Need for Oversight: The second Trump administration must maintain a vigilant approach to ensure that the direction of foreign policy aligns with the anti-interventionist principles that many of his supporters advocate for.

  4. Corporate Accountability: Gaetz’s alignment with figures like Lena Khan shows a bipartisan interest in tackling corporate monopolies, which could redefine conservative economic priorities.

Key Points:

  3. Voter Disillusionment: The failure to convince voters of Trump’s threat reflects a disconnect between elite narratives and grassroots concerns.
  4. Party Dynamics: Democrats’ actions, such as granting surveillance powers, reveal an inconsistency in their fear-based rhetoric.
  5. Presidential Norms: Biden’s invitation to Trump underscores the importance of maintaining political civility, even amidst deep divisions.
  6. Consequences of Rhetoric: The extreme language surrounding Trump has not translated into corresponding political action, revealing a potential gap in genuine belief.
  7. Political Polarization: The contrasting views within the Democratic Party about Trump may lead to a fractured approach in addressing threats to democracy.

Independent, Unencumbered Analysis and Investigative Reporting, Captive to No Dogma or Faction.

Key Points:

  1. Avoiding Neocon Influence: Trump’s early decisions suggest a desire to distance from neoconservatives, which could reshape U.S. foreign policy. However, this remains to be seen as new appointments may contradict this intent.
  2. Factional Dynamics: The influence of family and allies like Don Jr. and Tucker Carlson will likely create ongoing factional conflicts within the administration, complicating unified policy direction.
  3. Contradictory Appointees: New appointments, such as Marco Rubio and Elise Stefanik, bring traditional neocon views into key positions, potentially undermining Trump’s promise of a less interventionist stance.
  4. Unpredictability Factor: Trump’s instinct-driven decision-making style means that his administration could diverge from expected norms, leading to unpredictable foreign policy outcomes.
  5. Complexity of Intent: While Trump’s initial signals suggest a break from the past, the actual composition of his cabinet reveals complexities that may perpetuate previous policies.
  6. Future of U.S. Foreign Policy: The ongoing analysis of Trump’s choices will be crucial to understanding the future trajectory of U.S. engagement on the global stage, particularly regarding conflicts like Ukraine and Israel.
  7. Potential for Change: Despite concerns, Trump’s history indicates the potential for deviation from established norms, providing hope for a more isolationist approach if he chooses to embrace it.

"You can't fool all the people all of the time"

"But if you fool the right ones, then the rest will fall behind"

Politically conscious artists like the Dead Prez understand that our humanity and culture are being viciously and violently undermined by corrupt forces who try to brainwash us and occupy our hearts and mind with political propaganda. The song “Propaganda” gets to the heart of this problem.

Our economic survival is often cited for the reason we have to endure unjust laws and oppressive individuals and institutions. The corrupt forces in our society will tamper with science and present false data to distort reality and keep the people in line. When propaganda doesn’t keep people from exercising their constitutional right to petition the government with legitimate grievances, violence will be unleashed by the state to subdue them, and those caught in the mayhem employed by a corrupt government will be blamed for the situation they find themselves in.

Mainstream media is contaminated with propaganda. Our school curriculums are contaminated with propaganda. Only when we all have the determination to seek truth, demand truth and share truth can we change our world for the better.

The song helps a listener begin to think about their core beliefs about the world they live in. “Propaganda” challenges a person to look carefully at the motivations of those who keep them informed. It dares people to question the sources of all of the things they know. Once you consider the source, the picture of reality becomes clearer. Once you consider the motivations of the source you will be able to see clearly the distractions used to block the truth from view. Once you begin to look closely at economic interests of people distributing information you will begin to hear all of the linguistic manipulations in their speeches that are designed to make us act against our own interests. Once you realize you are being manipulated for socio-economic and political reasons it will become clear exactly who corrupt forces are targeting for destruction, and why.

Human beings have a lot of lies to sift through to find the truth. The lies being fed to us, to perpetuate the status quo, are in abundance. The Dead Prez close the song by getting us to ask ourselves, what is the purpose of life? Living in a world full of lies generated by fear and hatred are undermining our humanity. Too many people are suffering. We must choose to be champions and defenders of the truth if we truly want all people to live in peace and harmony. We must all be united and committed to making sure anyone who lies to us is exposed by the truth. The lies spread by the status quo are keeping us at war with each other and that is not living.

“The FBI is aware of the offensive and racist text messages sent to individuals around the country and is in contact with the Justice Department and other federal authorities on the matter,” the FBI said on Thursday.

FBI Link: https://www.fbi.gov/news/press-releases/fbi-statement-on-offensive-and-racist-text-messages

Brian Hughes, of the Trump campaign, told NBC that they would take legal action “if we can find the origin of these messages which promote this kind of ugliness in our name.

“President Trump built a diverse and broad coalition of support, with voters of all races and backgrounds,” he said in a statement to NBC. “The result was a landslide victory for his commonsense mandate for change. This will result in a second term that is beneficial to every working man and woman in our nation.”

It is the Democrats fault for not listening to the working-class struggles and the protestors that are against funding the proxy wars and genocide.

Check out a foreign lobby group that is ignored by the duopoly; it is called AIPAC. They fund many politicians and have a lot of control over our foreign policy as well.

[–] [email protected] -2 points 1 week ago

It seems to just help divide the working class and to continue to increase tribalism.

You do you!

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 week ago

True!

I wonder if the numbers will have an impactful change when comparing the people that said they would move out of the U.S. due to 2016/2020/2024.

It is important to escape our self-built echo chambers. Many independent journalists and commentators spoke of an increase in minority support for Trump and Harris not reaching the Biden numbers.

We must focus on building up a grassroots movement that is for the working class and moving away from the duopoly.

Stay hopeful!
