What does a lockable bootloader mean? Is it just encrypted so the kernel never gets loaded without the user?

Ahhhh, so we're just seeing different artists bringing different styles to the table? Honestly, that's kind of cool.

I really like James' work on Nancy but what's with her model here? Has she gotten older? I havent read it in years but last I checked James just used a varient of the traditional model.

I've listened to that podcast and Carlin's previous one about the decision to drop the bomb. I don't really recall Carlin saying that. Tbf Supernova in the East was massive so it's possible I don't remember the section you're talking about.

Dan Carlin has a great episode on the historical context behind the decision and how it was really the culmination of a series of - in my opinion - bad calls with regards to the acceptability of collateral damage in bombing by the US.

Wait, how can I get rid of google auth pop-ups? I got Ublock but they still come up whenever I go to a reddit page.

5 minute ad breaks every 15 minutes kinda ruin the experience.

Brendan Metcalfe's intro series to list comprehensions is one of the best I've come across. In addition to showing how to use them, he compares it to other similar methods and shows why LCs can be more effective. Wanted to share his stuff here.
