Mmm, bit controversial opinion? Foxconn is a Taiwanese company.

Came here to see the obvious “flaccid state” joke. Was disappointed.

Yeah, but it’s a brand. There’s nothing special about the Coca-Cola company that makes it impossible for other soda manufacturers to make brown sweet drinks either, but they have exclusive rights to the name.

Why would you even want to name your sparkling wine after the Champagne region unless you’re making it there? It’s because the name has a value, and the origin laws are there to protect that value.

Well… maybe if he tried being nicer and didn’t smell quite so fecal, people wouldn’t describe him like that?

The bash that comes with macOS is a fork of the last version distributed under version 2 of the GPL, most likely because Apple doesn’t want to distribute GPLv3 code as part of macOS, and it is ancient. They keep it updated with security fixes but nothing else, so it has gradually become less and less compatible with current bash.

Since zsh has become a popular bash replacement and it isn’t GPLv3, they switched the default shell to that.

Solid rocket boosters, but they’re called “jet assisted take-off” for some reason.

T. rex was around for 20 million years or so, I’d say they passed for long enough to be considered successful. Despite the tiny arms.

Cooking with them guarantees a crit, boosting the effect of the other ingredients you mix it with. It’s like cooking with fairies, or in the last half hour before midnight on a blood moon night.

Mmmnnn z means (de)compress, c means create: -xf and -cf extract and create uncompressed tarballs. Also it’s far more complicated.
