That's the flameskull from the d&d 5e monster manual

Be familiar with NoSql: like Mysql, postgreSQL, SequelSqlSQL, and Memdb.

well, the definition of "NoSQL" was changed to stand for "Not Only SQL" some while back because of how many nosql DBs started incorporating SQL (and how many SQL RDBMS started adding nosql features)

Monster tokens are probably one of my "unsung heroes" of gaming when it comes to travel; I know people (myself included) probably always go to with minis, but if i'm going to a convention, traveling for the holidays, etc. tossing a whole pile of tokens into a bag make for great addition. No particular brand, just whatever i've picked up over the years.

There's a handful of places around the Midwest that do beggars night. The main reason I've heard was that it was to stop children from pulling pranks like egging/TPing houses, which honestly makes no sense to me. You just freed up their entire Halloween night for that by having trick or treating on a different day

Yeah, I don't think there's any way to report communities, just users and messages

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Nope, definitely not. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. FYI, the reports came through a little weird (since it's about a community) and I accidentally hit ban on your account, but I've rescinded it (also on mobile so the interface was a bit different)

i feel like "does he not like bilbo?" can basically sum up gandalf's actions in the hobbit more generally

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

yeah, i picked it up too; The site you get the PDFs from is pretty bad UI design-wise.

You've obviously gotten the base level answer, but to add some color here - certain types of food, such as dried pasta, rice, beans, grains, high proof alcohol, vinegars, and basically anything frozen to name a few, never spoil in the sense that they're unsafe to eat.

Flavor, however, is an entirely different matter. Just ask anyone who has eaten freezer burnt food.

Pretty much any high proof alcohol will fall into this category. And, if it's unopened, it should retain most of its flavor for a very long time. Once opened, however, it can deteriorate relatively quickly, depending on how it was stored.

Since the 70s. It was in an act signed by Nixon.

Thought this might be appreciated here. Looks like a whole host of books, I have no idea how these particular editions are as I haven't played em

It was the official discord until earlier this year, so it's kinda not just "some unofficial server". Also, the mod in question was using racial slurs. Granted, the Godot foundation also split ways with them.

Additionally there was something about an over zealous community manager blocking people over responses that supposedly weren't all that inflammatory or bad? I'm not super sure there, I've only kinda half been paying attention to it

Pretty much anything that telegraphs people gathering somewhere with supplies, or hints towards somewhere that can be fortified (army base, buildings that can lock down like government buildings, schools, possibly hospitals, etc) is a pretty easy way to get your players to gravitate towards it.

Today marks one year since the TTRPG network was set up after the whole hubbub over at reddit. While we certainly haven't been the largest instance in town, we're still reasonably active, and overall i think things are going pretty good.

Not really much to say, just wanted to point out our fedi-versary. Thanks for participating and hope everyone is still enjoying themselves!

Wotc dropped a big video today all about the upcoming edition. There's a few articles breaking down some of the information out there already.

Just a small FYI update, the host that we used just informed us that our website is now certified green hosted by the green web foundation, meaning that our site is completely hosted by clean energy.

You should see the badge display in our sidebar about it starting today.
