They show up in other communities though, when I see a low effort/meme shitpost and check the user it seems the majority are coming from there.

So if a predator locks a victim in a closet, does that make lockmakers morally reprehensible?

second term of trump will be an order of magnitude worse

How would it be worse, like more of Jan 6? Would you explain what you mean?

should have let him win

Actually made me laugh. Guys, democrats just need to let repubs win and not hold elected officials responsible for crimes in office, come on.

Thank you, 1/5 of lifetime motorcyclists dying in wreck doesn’t add up.

Fyi if someone comes across this - best approach on regular lemmy now seems to be to have account with an instance like https://sopuli.xyz/ which has defederated hexbear, lemmygrad, etc. Kbin and some frontend apps allow this as well.

Is it possible to block all users from an instance at once?

Nah it was always an energy capacity and density per $ issue. Battery technology doesn’t improve as fast as compute but it has followed a steady ~10% yearly increase. Seems that when one tech plateaus another picks up. Solid state will get us to 4-500 mi/charge. Even electric planes will eventually happen.

If there’s n of something and n+1 breaks it, then it was broken to begin with.

From the article:

Mohamed Shalleh had argued that a friend he owed money to had tricked him into believing he was delivering contraband cigarettes.

You support this man being executed? Per the article it was for 54 grams of heroin which the state claims is enough for:

600 users for a week

Which is a blatant lie and evidence the state resorts to falsehoods to justify its barbarism. 1/2 a gram a day is common for an addicted user, so this man was carrying (unknown to him) just over 100 doses.
