Tridactyl is the best. It is supporting editing textarea with vim/emacs

Yes, I have Arch Linux in all my laptops and all of them has the same issue after boot. I'm not using sleep at all

I have slighty different problem. Every time I turn my laptop on my Corne keyboard is not recognized, until I plug-out and plug-in again. I have no idea, how to fix it. My setup is here

Layout list looks much more accurate!

The olly issue I have with thumbkey at the moment - same color for all layouts. As I have 4 layouts it is impossible to turn off keys, as I used to do in MessagEase, because they will be immpossible to recognise. Would be nice to change background color for layout

Vim sucks, Emacs is the best editor in the world

My beloved corne v3 (programming.dev)

I bought it on etsy.com after last Christmas and right now I fill very comfortable. First several months I played with configuration and different layouts and learn blind typing as well. My final config could be found here. The base layout is Colemak-dh, second one is for numbers and arrows. Third one is for special characters and final layout for mouse movements. It is vial compatible and I use macros, combos and tap dancing intensively. Also I use modifiers as holding keys, but above home row, as it speed up my taping and I produce less errors.

It's much easier as you imagine. It always one key and in any layout it works the same. If I need to switch to nums layout I always tap twice. If I hold I switch to chars layout. This is much more intuitive than any key combination

I use tapdance to access 4 layouts.

I use additional trackball as build one is not working correctly yet and I have no time to fix it(.
