Nice to see they are moving to native platforms. With this news they took away my only reason for switching to the shiny proton pass.

Hi thank your for the update. I want to report an issue which I believe is related to launch modes or navigation stack. Many times I noticed the the app have same screen with multiple instances in backstack so I need to press back button 2 or 3 times to actually go back to front-page.

If you've newish hardware then fedora workstation is a good option. It was my daily driver for almost a year. Another one is Zorin OS based on Ubuntu. Zorin ships most of the driver out of the box and I recommend it if you're shifting from Windows.

I do cap speeds in my transmission server since I mostly use it for large size torrents and forget to pause until I open the web interface again. Once I ended up seeding 30x.

As per the website there are around 900 active ~~users~~ servers on lemmy I recently joined the fediverse both lemmy and mastodon and tbh lemmy is more active. Mastodon is just an echo chamber only bots are reposting from reddit and twitter.

TLDR

S-curve products are fueled by novelty. This is why there is a rush of new users without much marketing effort whenever there are major tech releases. There is both high growth and high churn in the early stages of an S-curve. The skills needed to succeed in a late S-curve market are very different. Investors will be looking for products that are radically different. A good design can help differentiate late S-curve products.

At this point I won't be surprised if they add DRM on the whole site.

Is this for real? Every year they find a way to enshitify the platform. I use youtube mostly in browser and read comments all of the times.

TL;DR MIT researchers have developed an antitampering ID tag that is tiny, cheap, and secure. It is several times smaller and significantly cheaper than the traditional radio frequency tags that are used to verify product authenticity. The tags use glue containing microscopic metal particles. This glue forms unique patterns that can be detected using terahertz waves. The system uses AI to compare glue patterns and calculate their similarity. The tags could be used to authenticate items too small for traditional RFIDs.

One of the few RSS reader app with stunning UI.
