I don't care that you used to be a dude, but I must say, the surgeon did an amazing job.

I hope, you got Paracetamol, or Ibuprofen instead of Aspirin, as the latter is an anticoagulant, which prevents the blood from thickening itself. Other than that, that's exactly the same medication I got in Germany when my wisdom teeth were extracted: Local anesthetics during the procedure, paracetamol for afterwards and a sick note for one day with the option to get it prolonged if necessary. Outside the US it's not as common to throw a ton of opioids at minor/medium pains. Which is why the US has an opioid crisis and we don't.
I live thousand miles and almost 40 years away from the Chernobyl disaster. And still we have to test and dispose boar meat regularly because of over the top Caesium-137 polution.
One lander for the astronauts, one for the film crew and a third one for the cameras, lights etc. You know you can't just walk into a RadioShack on the moon and ask for a camcorder, right? Because in because in space noone can hear you ask.
In Germany we had a company a few years ago, that had planned to build cargo airships to replace heavyweight transports on streets. The idea was to use it for freights of up to 160 tons of weight.
Admittedly, it was a financial disaster and the company went bankrupt after a few years. But the limited weight capacity wasn't the problem.
At least, we now have a tropical island, due to their failure.
Is there anything else for me to do on the island? Is it big enough to go hiking, can you swim in the ocean, or is there just a desk and a chair and you have to play all day while not eating/sleeping? Because if that was the case, I'd choose some sports game, probably Nintendo's Ring Fit Adventure, but I don't know any alternatives. Sitting at the desk 16 hours a day would be quite uncomfortable after a while. Other than that my choices have already been named: Factorio (can I wait till October please, before you send me off to that island 🙏. I can't wait 5 more years for the expansion!) and KSP.
It's not silent, but in the wrong place. Haet would be more correct, as it changes the pronunciation from [hæt] to [heɪt]. Hait might be an even better way to write it (see also: bait, maid, laid etc.)
English is a weird language.
So we should write fiid and niid then? In German, if you wanted a word that's pronounced like the English need, you'd write nied.
Anyhow, just removing the second e without replacement would not help in knowing how to pronounce the word by reading it.
If they are silent, they don't chang the pronunciaton, becaus if they do they are not silent.
Dubl e's mak sens thou. Ther's a diffrenc between feed and fed, or between need and Ned. The dublin maks the E longer.
Sure, you can say a lot of bad things about the leaders of the nazi party, but you have to give them credit for being the guys that killed Göbbels and Hitler.
