I've had so many of these experiences that i mostly refuse to engage nowadays, i can't be bothered. The amount of babying, coddling and you'reoneofthegoodones-ism they require is insane, i'd rather save my energy for conversations with people who aren't racists in denial.
That's one of the reasons i left there too. I was part of several subreddits for The Sims, and there was a lot of racism going on that would lead to the most braindead, tone-deaf and annoying "arguments" ever when called out, their ability to play devil's advocate for the most obviously racist shit was exhausting.
Obviously there was more stuff going on but this legit drove me insane, and since they were pretty much my "main" communities there i just ended up leaving.

I had a bit of a sad weekend, so now i'm trying to get over that and get some stuff done, just finished scheduling some things for the week and i'll probably gonna have to go run some errands after breakfast, hope everyone has a nice week :> btw, now i'm craving a burrito smh π
Yeah, it was draining tbh. And i get what you mean, that's why i try to avoid reading comments when i watch reels, it's so rampant and out of pocket in there π·
