It's a good time for a big switch / going international, what with the coming of CS2 soon.
I guess there's only so many gigastars that they can produce with their academy team and NAVI as a team is only really gunning for top spot. So if they don't have another b1t / monesy situation, they'd rather go external.

I was a premium member a while ago because I love reddit and wanted to support it + get rid of adds on the mobile app (I use their app) but I cancelled it during the last blackout (I think it was the 2021 one about hate speech).
A lot of these companies have never been profitable and have been running on VC money on speculation alone until they reach critical mass and can turn on the monetization streams.
