I'm not original poster, but this is honestly something fun to know lol I'm sure he would have appreciated it greatly.

I learned about this community from your post. That's so unfortunate.

It's pretty fresh seeing a Xonotic post and not having to go hunt for information.

I think, he and many users are buying it before it gets taken down in a couple of weeks as a token of appreciation. I'm pretty sure they're aware that it's basically a donation.

That was actually sick! Thanks for posting.

To be fair, kbine doesn't label things very well right now. I'm using both, and Lemmy makes it far more clear where a post is coming from.

I don't have that option? I just checked and I am using .34 from github. That's so odd.

How do you change that setting? I'm using it right now, and I don't see any comment sort options.

Musicbrainz isn't a music streaming server though? I've used it to tag everything with mood, and bpm, but I'm not aware of any selfhosted music server that utilizes it.

P.S. It seems like you've responded to this post 3 other times.

Yep, if the toggle was exclusive to "all" and "subscribed", while leaving the profile page, and on a community page alone, I'd have that on all the time.

Yep, this is the most realistic take. They did give lemmy/kbin a boost that will be home to a bunch of users, but it's not winner take all. Both will now exist. People won't leave reddit until they are personally affected. Most people didn't care about 3rd party apps, and once the blackout is over, regular users won't care unless reddit attacks them directly.

As long as your open about it being self promotion, or that it's you. I used to hate the feeling of someone saying they found this band, or just lied about being affiliated with the band. Otherwise, more music is great!
