I vastly prefer Lemmy over Reddit at this point. I hope folks continue to filter over here.

Memmy has had an amazing development cycle. Big thing that Thunder has that Memmy doesn’t is swipe access to my communities. Really like swiping in from the left in Thunder and having that list. Memmy you need to click the star and it’s a bit of a reach while one handed.

Great write up. Will be sharing with some buddies struggling to make the move over.

100% Reddit isn’t going to die overnight. We can take as big of a bite out of the IPO as possible though.

Many hands make light work or something like that. :)

Continuing to decentralize will play a big part. Also we as users will have to have greater ownership and contribution. Not always monetarily, but in participation, moderation or otherwise.

Anyone else excited about the Longshot because to take it to its peak it is probably going to require some old school modding like shell reenforcement? Time to dust off some old skills! Also really hoping we see a plethora of different skins.

All for some exploration of the Star Wars universe as a non-lightsaber welding protagonist.

I’d messed around with Mastodon, but Twitter was never my thing so it didn’t really stick. Lemmy is the first Fediverse thing that will likely see a lot of use from me.

Steam Deck best tech purchase for me in a long time. Don’t judge me too much but I’ve been playing Disney Speedstorm between TotK sessions.

Just echoing many others, the biggest day to day thing I would like to see is a compact feed view. Right now it’s a lot of scrolling.
