Wtf is the point of anti-cheat in a single player game? Fuck Capcom, not buying anything they put out anymore. Been wanting to play Dragons Dogma 1, since I already own it, but now I don't even want to give them the player stat.

Can we all agree there was no good option in the Biden/Trump election?
Tencent is worse than Hasbro
What alternative would you recommend?

We need to fuck off with the fines. If the penalty for something is a fine, it just becomes the price of doing said illegal thing, and doesn't de-incentivise it at all. People need to start going to jail, or else the crimes of these companies are just going to get worse and worse because there's no reason for them not to. Like, oh no we were fined 1.3M but we made 5M from doing the illegal thing so it's ultimately worth it.
Haha yeah I do this all the time

Oh yeah I forgot about the Staals. They deserved the hate they got lol.
I think it's to stop players getting singled out for refusing to show support for certain causes, prolly a response to the hate against certain Russian players opting out of pride days last year. Kinda dumb imo. But I blame the fans who were dumb enough to think that any player with family still in Russia would openly support the LGBTQ community.
Tried it out cause of curiosity and the allure of not being subject to a corporation's whims. Discovered package managers, aur, how customizatable the whole experience is and never looked back
I still dual boot Windows for a select couple games that don't run on Linux (anticheat) but I try to use it as little as possible cause it just feels gross.
Ah I see, all the same shit to me. Throw it in the bin pls. Definitely more understandable for a single player game tho
