I just started using frigate as well just need something simple and easy for the wife to use. We use frigate in home assistant and viewing single cameras is fine and all just wanted something more fluent. I did try out IPCams app and it works really well with frigate restreams just didn’t wanna shell out 50$ a year if I don’t have too. But fully understandable.

Ha ha yeah I know normally I’m pretty good at finding stuff if it does exist, so I don’t post very often but I figured it was a longshot so I would ask xD

Does anyone know a good RTSP stream viewer app for iOS? I’m looking For something to view my IP cameras. Everything I’m finding is free for a limited amount of cameras, or has a yearly subscription. Figured I’d ask you other self hosted to see if anyone else has any good recommendations.

Do you support local storage for self hosting using docker?

I use tp-link Tapo cameras and they work great! Yes you have to use there app to see them up the first time and provide username and pass for rtsp feed but after that toss them in your NVR software and boom good to go!

Limited-time deal: TP-Link Tapo 2K QHD Security Camera Outdoor Wired, Starlight Sensor for Color Night Vision, Free AI Detection, Works with Alexa & Google Home, Built-in Siren, Cloud/SD Card Storage (Tapo C320WS) https://a.co/d/ji5263Z

I’ve been using the above with frigate and has been working great. Has rtsp built into them by default!

Would be cool to incorporate free games from stores like steam, epic games, and gog!

Might be overkill but you could setup and run a Jenkins server to run your scripts and use one of the many notification plugins that are available.

This tool I just found out about the other day and it’s still early in development but has some awesome features and some huge time savers built into it!
