My guess is they don't want to be responsible for lawsuits if someone eats food they had to throw out and it causes a problem. (past expiration date, damage, ect.) Then again I am not a multi-billion dollar business executive so the reason could very well be "fuck the poors" for all I know.

I know this a very serious discussion, but I just wanted to say the phrase "yikes on bikes" is a good one.

You know, I'm kinda surprised there isn't a Maid IT service out there somewhere. You're telling me I can fix computers all day AND dress in a maid outfit? sign me up!

my favorite part about reading the relevant Wikipedia article is the libertarian magazine claiming the islands were "more or less reclaimed by the sea". As if the people already there weren't people but fish or something. For those curious: Here is the Wikipedia article

That would the coolest shit imaginable. I'm surprised nobody has tried making a FOSS ecosystem for the DS, considering how often users have hacked it. All I'm saying is, I wish a company would come alone and make a DS like system with modern resolution and cameras. It might do pretty well.

Some US states require you have one on the front and back. Or at least that's what I've been told by a highway patrolman.

This is a defeatist take and while the answer isn't a super simple "just tell people to not order out and cook more" we can definitely do more to help people stop relying on eating out and fast food.

The lock-downs definitely aren't at fault for doordash and ubereats, they were there and gaining traction before covid was discovered.
