I'd say for posts like these, it's better to link straight to the official Dragon Ball website since it's the source of the information in the article. It's not a rule, though, so no biggie 🤷

Toriyama will always be near and dear to my heart. His work isn’t the most sophisticated, but it had a charm to it that only he could ever manage to create, and that resonated with millions across the globe.

Nunca te olvidaremos, Toriyama. Te mereces un respeto infinito. 🫡🇲🇽

The spirit of the Black Panther Party lives on in the United Panther Movement.

The people I mentioned were likely some of the ones who worked on those scenes you thought were cool. Yuya Takahashi in particular was loved among fans for his style that heavily mirrored Yamamuro's Buu saga style. Shintani was the one who came up with the designs for the recent Broly movie. If anything, this show will at least look competent, as long as the animators aren't rushed like during Super's production.

Can't say I know what to expect from the story and writing, though.

Copying this comment I made some months ago:

I was a bit skeptical myself, but the chief animation supervisors for this series include Chikashi Kubota, Naohiro Shintani, Yuya Takahashi, Takeo lde, and Miyako Tsuji. A powerhouse of some of the best people that worked on Super. It’s impossible not to be excited when they’re involved so heavily in this project.

What about America Ferrera? She matters as much as Margot Robbie and got an Oscar nomination for her role in the film.

Sorry for being so late 😭😭

There's this children's show called Jakers which features a subplot about a sheep (voiced by Mel Brooks apparently) that basically tries to convince the other sheep to not be sheep just like in this strip.

I quite liked the addition of the Saiyaman X suits for Goten and Trunks. Very fun, but it's also frustrating that they're pretty much guaranteed to screw up the fusion and rob us of Saiyaman X². Maybe I'm wrong, though, and Toyotarou will change things up a bit.

Night of the Consumers has a premise that is sort of close to what you're imagining.

That looks to me like the episode where Goku turns Super Saiyan 2 to fight Caulifla and Kale. Should be Dragon Ball Super Episode 113 "With Great Joy! The Repeat Battle-Crazy Saiyan Fight!!" / "With Great Joy! The Fighting Freak Saiyans' Battle Rejoined!"

I'd say your best bet is scrubbing through that episode to find this still and screenshotting it.

Courtesy of @[email protected], [email protected] will be rewatching the entire Dragon Ball franchise, starting from the OG series. You can find this week's 5 episodes pinned to the top of the [email protected] community, or simply by visiting this link.

This post is merely to invite anyone who would care to participate and to point out that the Dragon Ball community has a presence on Lemmy, albeit small.

I hope everyone enjoys it. Remember to thank @[email protected] for setting everything up!

Cold off the presses!!
