Lol that’s some evil shit and I fucking hate Hungary. How do normal people read that their friends are sabotaging their livelihoods and still consider them friends

Reading Berserk gave me some new perspectives on violence. Or really it just gave my existing perspectives some nice graphics to look at. In the series, the protagonist experiences horrific things from the moment he’s born, and he loses what little hope he found several times. He sets on a life quest of extreme violence to get vengeance, but quickly realizes that all it does is makes him feel empty and depressed and alone. But he later finds kindness and love in new friends and family and repurposed his violence to preserve that.

We all should seek peace and kindness in our life. But that doesn’t mean we must accept evil being inflicted on us or others. And sometimes the only way to preserve or create that peace and kindness is through violence. Don’t get intoxicated by violence and don’t make it your purpose in life, but if you find yourself in such a situation, then the person threatening that harmony must be disabled or put down like a rabid animal if necessary.

Alternatively, consider abuse and self defense as a microcosm of war time conditions. During war, we cannot prioritize re-educating the enemy. They will either be imprisoned or shot. Once you are in peace time, and the threat is far away from you, then you can consider forgiveness and re-education and reintegration.

Regardless if they have good masculine traits, they’re old and dead. Boys have historical role models but they also want and need living ones who are living and succeeding in today’s society and standards. What message would you give if all the people you look up to are dead and lived in a society that no longer exists (either physically or culturally)? It seems rather depressing and makes people nostalgic over TRVDITION instead of focusing on the present.

If we’re talking about labeling things, that’s not going to go away. People are always gonna associate xyz with a group, and maybe masculinity will consist of different things and omit certain things. It’s a waste of time and perhaps detrimental to try to “eliminate” these labels. Instead, we should eliminate the moralizing and strict exclusivity with these labels.

For example, weightlifting and sports can still be considered masculine, but it shouldn’t be a bad thing if you’re a man and not into it, and it shouldn’t be a bad thing if you’re a woman and are into it, and it shouldn’t be a bad thing if you do those things and still paint your nails or do ballet or whatever.

Unless Bush sends goons to kidnap Trump family members and water board them in a basement in Poland, there is nothing he can do. There’s nothing none of them can do. Not because they’re powerless, but because they know Trump ultimately aligns with their agenda and it’s better to just wait through the storm.

They could’ve simply stayed in the US and not get blown up by drone strike. But we all make mistakes. Hopefully they will learn from this and avoid it next time.

The only two countries that have semen extraction technology are Israel and China. The US is falling behind in everything which is why it’ll never win WWIII

As long as you’re not hounding your coworkers and try to make an effort to talk with them regularly, they should usually be the one to ask you. I’m pretty uptight too but when managers aren’t around I’m usually trying to chat everybody up

But where are those good old fashioned values on which we used to rely?

streams all the albums endlessly

buys all the merchandise

attends every concert

And you know what, that might just very well be true if we’re talking about some supernatural force that is indifferent to its creations, not out of malice, but because it simply is truly neutral.

But as evidence for the religious capital ‘G’ God, the one who communicates and plans every little detail because he loves us so much? What is the point of these “subtle” proofs that took thousands of years to be studied and recorded when he has shown that he can just pop up anywhere or perform miracles and whatever the fuck.

It is no coincidence that the vast majority, possibly 99%, of devout religious people do not give a shit about using math to explain god because it’s all proven in their holy books. It is no coincidence that the “empirical” evidence is, in reality, just pointing at the existence of features and concepts of math and science rather than utilizing said features and concepts to prove the existence of god. And no, philosophical musings about morality using the language of mathematical proofs does not count as utilizing math and science (literally, all the axioms in these types of "proofs" are subjective shit like "bad" and "good" and not, say, the difference between 1 and 0).

And I didn’t even want to make a post dunking on religion, but I’m irritated because YouTube recommended some dumbass video by a channel called “Reformed Zoomer” and one of the arguments is “there is an infinite range of numbers between two numbers, and if we turn those numbers into letters, then every book possible has already been written. Checkmate atheoids”. https://youtu.be/z0hxb5UVaNE?si=RpjF6S0fHiF71iH-
