From your use of the £ I'm going to assume you are not American. America has legalized theft if it's the police doing the taking. Look up civil forfeiture. You turn over money to cops, they'll just say they "think" it was involved in crime and pocket it.

Lackluster reporting. The article misses the fact that he has to step down as he's a special government employee and so can only work for 130 days.

Strange that that's the one law that he decided to follow.

Woah, hold up. I thought the government said All EVs are bad and we should stick to gas. Now Tesla EVs are okay? Oh, the hypocrisy! /s

I hate this timeline.

Optimistic of them to think there's going to be any IRS employees come April.

I did Amazon since you can easily put in the exact amount from the payment. You can do the same for Target. I've also used these types of refunds to make a partial payment on some of my utility bills.

I agree with you, it should be regulated. But if you'd clicked through they give you an image of a credit card that doesn't need the app. I used it to buy a gift card from a store I regularly use that way it doesn't expire or accumulate BS fees.

I'm guessing he kept it all intentionally. He had the manifesto on him, probably expecting "accidental" suicide by cop in hopes that his message would continue and not be painted over by the media. Yeah, he could have ditched the gun, but again, perhaps he didn't want there to be any shadow of a doubt that he is guilty. This was an intentional sacrifice in hopes of making a change.
