The point the article is making is that it's not just a matter of us having different ways of cooking for these recipes... it's that the old recipes simply don't work because of the differences in our ingredients now. Just because one can cook a custard differently isn't the point: it's that the old recipes simply don't work now because the egg is different. Likewise follow the same chicken recipe and it calls for cooking 45 minutes and now we realize the chicken is done and tender in 20... this ain't your great-grandmothers chicken.

I love that they have a belt. Like, you gotta put your belt on even with cut-offs.
This is a good recipe. I make it frequently though usually with shredded parmesan vs grated, and sometimes with shredded pepper jack
Strange that the recipe says to quarter the Brussel sprouts but then shows pics where they're halfed or maybe even whole instead.
A lot of people are lazy and just assuming Trump will lose, won't vote. Others it's a challenge because they have to take time off work as voting day is not a holiday in the US. Additionally some polling locations have long lines, something notoriously common in low-income areas. People have been known to wait many hours just to vote and so not surprisingly these areas often have lower turnout due to frustration.
The tariffs only increase US worker wages if they are significant enough to promote domestic manufacturing. If we still can't produce the widget at home for the same or less expensively, then all we've done is create a federal sales tax on Chinese goods.
This guy has ALL the pride!
Nuclear safety and penny-pinchers don't make good bedfellows.
It had to be raised and pointed to have a bullet go through the windshield and hit someone in the face. Don't make excuses for the guy
I think most parents get their kids in the car first because kids hanging around in the parking lot with cars pulling in and out is hazardous and kids can be dumb. Hard to keep an eye on them while you're unloading things so you put them in first. Then of course if it's warm out the car is hot and kids will be complaining so the parent starts the car to get the AC going while they secure the kids and then unload the groceries. Once done of course they have to decide... walk away from the running car with your kids inside and put the cart away, or not. I can understand why sometimes they dont.
Additionally Ukraine is an asset they want to exploit. Turning it into a nuclear landscape makes it unusable.
Agreed. When I was younger I had very oily skin. Skipping a day without showering I realize I was much hotter and generally irritable. I needed to get the oil off me to stay cooler and happy.
Now I'm older and much less oily. I can skip and don't get stinky or hot. Even working out I don't really get stinky, at least per my wife. Not the case when I was young.
Corruption is still the prime suspect here. Developers have a much harder time selling property that requires flood insurance.
