I graduated from this school. The last time I read about my hometown in national news was when the locals fought against renaming "Jap Rd.", arguing it was respectful and not at all racist. It's a miserable place with a lot of miserable people who think they're better than most.

I guess I'm different. If you burn me enough to illicit disgust, I will remember that over all else and I only forgive if deserving. I've had to many people take advantage of me. I don't hold grudges, I identify if you are a positive or negative effect on my life and treat accordingly.

I knew a cabbie who thought like this. He would get pissy about a small tip. Same asshole refused to tip at restaurants because "I work hard for my money and not just going to give it to anyone. You gotta wow me." nobody ever wowed him. In fact, he was one of the worst people I've ever seen in a public eatery. He would turn his plate over and dump the food on the table and act like a self satisfied 5 year old if his food wasn't right. We're specifically not friends because I let him know what I thought of that.

I have WFH since 2012. I started a new WFH job in 2021. I've never been to an office, never had trouble with training, made good connections with coworkers. I've been promoted already. I could not be this productive in an office. I've tried.
