Another happy wefwef user here. There's definitely some functionality missing or hard to find (I haven't figured out how to view entire non-local instances), but it definitely gets the job done and has promise

I am having some issues logging in to my lemmy.world account atm, just a heads up. I'm sure you folks are slammed right now, thanks for all the work you're doing!
I have a very similar setup, I use 99% rubbing alcohol and Epsom salt as well. I'm a clean freak with my glassware so I do it every day, but it only takes a couple minutes. I boil some water, run that through all the percolators, then pour in a bit of alcohol with Epsom salt and do the same before hitting it with hot water one last time. Just slap some silicone bong caps on both sides and give it a few healthy shakes, the tar and shit comes right out.

I think you're dead on. Elon is trying to make Twitter work, but he doesn't understand it at all. He doesn't understand what they're commodifying, who their customers are, or why people use Twitter in the first place.
Echoing some other sentiments from here, I used RIF and am currently using wefwef.app. I've only tried a couple, but I like this one quite a bit. Just go to Settings > Install App
Control is one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've had in the past few years. There are a couple really cool mechanics and set pieces that totally hooked me, awesome atmosphere
It has really solid ray tracing too, if you plan to play on PC as well
Looks like this is when I finally buy Dead Cells, kinda surprised it took this long
Police have nothing but contempt for the people, always helpful when they remind us I guess
It does have an app, if you go into settings you can install it from there. I'm using it now and like it
I believe it, when I first started using Reddit in 2008 it was almost entirely through desktop. By a few days ago, I had flipped to almost entirely using mobile. My habits changed a lot in 15 years
When Elon unplugs something but Twitter doesn't break
